Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Alpha Version released

Mozilla has released next version of the browser Firefox 3.6 Alpha 1 on friday.According to Mozilla, Firefox 3.6 includes enhanced speed performance to the TraceMonkey JavaScript engine, startup speed tweaks and several other changes to compete its rival chrome.

In previous versions of Firefox, some users experienced a problem where parts of the screen were not properly displaying after Firefox was open for long periods of time. Firefox 3.6 alpha 1 has fixed this issue. This version also fixed several stability and security issues.

Mozilla is planning to release the final version of firefox 3.6 in November. Only at that time we can come to know whether it is a major upgrade or just a minor one fixing bugs in earlier versions.

The Windows version of Firefox 3.6 will also support some Windows 7 features like Aero by which you can see desktop through transparent open windows.
